The university landscape in the Free State of Saxony is diverse and vast. Four universities, five art academies and five universities of applied sciences form the heart of Saxony’s higher education landscape. They offer a wide spectrum of subjects ranging from the Humanities to the MINT subjects (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology) and the best study conditions for the approximately 103,000 students studying there.

The Berufsakademie Sachsen (University of Cooperative Education in Saxony) with its seven locations in Bautzen, Breitenbrunn, Dresden, Glauchau, Plauen, Leipzig and Riesa is an integral part of the educational landscape in Saxony.
